What we collect

We collect only what you give us directly:

• Enquiry form — your name, email address, and whatever you tell us about your dates or request.
• Newsletter sign-up — your email address, used only to send occasional notes from Olivier and Martha.
• Basic, cookieless visit analytics — aggregate figures such as how many people visited a page, with no personal identifiers and no cross-site tracking.

Why we use it

To reply to your enquiry, take a booking, send the newsletter if you asked for it, and understand which parts of the site are useful so we can improve them. We do not sell or share your details with advertisers.

Legal basis

Enquiries and bookings are handled under contract or pre-contractual necessity. The newsletter runs on your consent, which you can withdraw at any time by unsubscribing. Basic visit analytics rely on our legitimate interest in understanding site usage, and involve no personal data or cookies.

Who sees it

Form submissions pass through Netlify, Inc. (our hosting provider, USA) to reach our inbox. We use no other third-party marketing or advertising tools. Where data is processed outside the EU, it is under Netlify’s standard contractual safeguards.

How long we keep it

Enquiry details are kept for as long as needed to answer you and, if you book, for standard accounting periods. Newsletter emails are kept until you unsubscribe.

Your rights

Under GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete, or export your data, or object to how it’s used. Write to us via the contact page and we’ll respond personally. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (France’s data protection authority) if you feel your rights haven’t been respected.
