Staying in Cannes for the Film Festival
Festival fortnight is the hardest week of the year to find anywhere decent in Cannes, and the hardest to find anywhere honest. Rates triple, minimum stays appear, and a lot of what is listed is a long way from the Palais. We are in the centre, a short walk from the red carpet steps and from Le Suquet, with two en-suite bedrooms and a wraparound terrace that turns out to be the most useful room in the flat during a week of back-to-back meetings.
